Alliance Employment Department

An integral part in the resettling of refugees is helping them secure employment once they arrive in the United States.

Both refugees and asylees are fully authorized to work in the United States by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Having left their previous life's positions behind in their home country, including homes, personal property, and jobs, they dilligently seek opportunity to become self sufficient for themselves and their family.

With new arrivals coming to the United States almost daily, the Job Developer's at the Alliance have the ability for fill job vacancies quickly. Employers can take advantage of this by avoiding advertising costs and utilizing our free referral services.

We Provide Support Services Such As:

  • Referral and Job Placement Services
  • Mediation between the employee and their employers
  • Transportation, if possible, to and from work
  • Post-Employment Support
  • A Multilingual staff to provide any interpreting needs
